New duties, new challenges... [open]

With some quick hand-movement, the Shinigami adjusted his new hiori and the blade on his back to a more comfortable position. He requested an open hiori with short sleeves, long ones would only be in the way of his Kido eventually, he knew how that always turned out. With a small sigh, he thought about what just happened.
Within the blink of an eye, he moved from 'possible Captain position' to 'new Captain of the 4th Squad', just like he wanted. Not that it had been easy to become what he was now. As the short Shinigami started to make his slow way to the barracs of his new squad, he didn't really care for the eyes of random Shinigami that where now on him. News spread quickly amongst the Reapers, but still, the former 4th Seat of the 5th Squad had never been someone largely known, so it was quite a surprise for many.
But luckily enough, nobody was stupid enough to start talking with low voices or crap like that right behind him. He would've smacked the first one to call him 'girly captain' into the next wall, that was for sure. Finally... he arrived. News of his coming where already sent, 'his' Squad knew who would come through this door any moment...
Without knocking or anything like that, the Taicho opened the door to the main room of the new Headquarters, which where right besides the Shinigami Hospital, many doors actually connected the complex of the Squad to this building.

~Koga~


Koga was sitting inside of the fourth division captain's office sitting down and doing any needed paperwork that he needed to do and have handled. in preparation for his own captain Or the new one at least. he kinda did miss the old one but so far had heard some good thing's about the new captain. so he didn't expect the new one to be a dick. After he made his way in Koga turned around to see Him. He looked quite femine....Wow....Almost like Koga himself who had a Womanly appearance.... though she knew of some rumor's in which people mistaked him for a girl and he went batshit insane them. nonetheles he payed his welcome to the new captain bowed politely. "Hello Fouth divison vice captain" he Said with a polite tone in his voice non having any direspect. "Some call me by Koga some call me by my nickname Noriin-Rin...anyways! it's about time you got here"" he said with a smile pulling over the new captain to some of his own paperwork he had to do.

As he walked through the halls of the fourth Squad, the members he encountered on the hallways seemingly froze solid. Most of them greeted him politely right away, and he had no problem with those who didn't. Not everyone could take a change as big as a new Captain very easily. Then, he finally stood infront of the door to the office of the Squad... his office, and the office of his Vice-Captain. Opening the door, he now saw the maybe most feminine Shinigami in the whole Soul Society - some would argue that the Captain himself wasn't that far from such a status, but no one would ever dare to say that loud in his vicinity.
As his new subordinate bowed to him, he smiled friendly and nodded towards him.
"You know the old men and their speeches that take whole centuries... I thought I would fall asleep there. I'm Hagiwara Toja, from today on the new Captain. Call me whatever you want, as long as it has nothing girly in it, that is."
The Shinigami took off his sword from the back and leaned it on the side of the table, noticing the giant pile of papers waiting for him. Sitting down on the chair, he sighed slightly. "The one thing I didn't like about this whole Captain-Idea. But anyway... Someone has to do that stuff, I guess." Pulling over the first of the papers, it was some order for new medical equipment for the hospital that needed his approval. Didn't look like that work would tire him out too much...
"Say, Koga-san." He looked up for a moment before signing the paper. Kinda unspectacular that his first sign of approval was under an order for new scalpels, but he didn't really care about it. As he continued to talk, he also read the next paper - if you thought about it, he was kinda fast for someone who said that he didn't like paperwork. "You've been in this Squad for a long time already, I guess?" As a former fourth seat, Toja had never met the other Vice-Captains or Captains that much.

~Koga~

koga made a small chuckle and smiled sitting down as he decided to help his captain out anyways... "i've been here for quiite a while yeah you could say that but don't worry this division is alright.....even though we get...shit from eleventh division who bullie's us all around or get on my everlasting nerve's..but alas what can ya do...but with a tough nosed captain like you thing's might look up" spoke koga in a polite and happy tone as he continued to do the paperwork and help out Toja after finishing a good amount of it he got back up..."but all in all i'm glad your here and i hope you do a great job as our captain after you finish how about i treat you to a meal? my treat.. i just got my paycheck today too....' he said with a sweet and serene smile his world's holding truth and serenity as well as a politeness

"Hm... I guess I'll officially greet the whole Squad tomorrow morning, right before the start of the normal duties. I never met that many fourths back in my Kido-Corps days, but the once I met where always quite nice people." Hagiwara signed the last paper with a sigh. He and his vice-Captain had just now defeated one of the most dreaded enemies of all Shinigami... paperwork. And that with relative ease, and quicker than most other Captains, too. Not shabby, clearly.
"Well, I plan on showing these brainless musclehills from the eleventh what happens if you mess with the Fourth Squad from now on. Kido is the strongest weapon of a Shinigami, not the sword." Seeing the smile of Koga now, he couldn't help but also be happy. This guy had a very positive aura surrounding him, something that made you feel safe. Really strange, considering who was now Captain - maybe the Vice-Captain could've been the new Captain instead, but the Captain-Commander normally knew what he was doing. Standing up, Toja tied his sword onto his back, as usual.
"How could I say no to such an invitation? Thanks, Koga-san." Hagiwara nodded with a smile. At first he had his doubts in the back of his mind of joining a functioning Squad - but it seemed like it would all work out in the end.

Koga made another chuckle and smiled as he got up and then made hisway outside of the office he then looked around a bit and then found a lovely food banquet area in the soul society that had the work's from fancy to Local stuff it was quite beautiful indeed. Koga smiled at Hagi and grabbed his hand pulling him in. when they walked in they could see quite the lovely Area with a nice and peaceful, Almost serene, setting... Koga smiled and reserved them two seat's and walked over to his sitting down moving a hand through his beautiful strand's of black hair...motioning for hagi to come over he looked at the menu... "Wow every single thing on this menu look's so good...i dont know which one i want to order gah!" koga said with a happy smile hagi was a lucky man not many seen Koga like this most could say he was all about buisness or the anti-social type but actually despite that he was quite friendly to the people he hung out with or people he trusted. and Hagi was luckily on that list. it was only up to him if he was gonna stay there for long~

How come he never ever noticed this store before? And here he was, thinking he knew nearly every area of Seireitei, being proved wrong. Maybe it was because he normally didn't go into these food stores - normally, he could be found in bars, drinking and eating a snack, during time off. But that should now maybe be past, as a Captain, he shouldn't be off drinking that much. Not that he had been drinking every day before, once a week was much for him, training nearly every day till exhaustion.
"You surely know your way around." Toja noticed, as Koga dragged him into that banquet. If he thought about it, that was maybe the first time he was ever DRAGGED by someone somewhere, on his hand. Well, there was always a first to something. Sitting down, he thought to himself and his Zanpaktou spirit...
'Well, I can see why they say he looks like a girl, actually.'
'It's not like you look manly, my friend. Thehe~' the fire fairy inside his sword teased. sighing, he also looked at the menu, sighing.
"Well, if you can't pick something, you got two ways. Eat everything to the extreme, or pick at random to the extreme." " Without memorizing where what stood, Hagiwara closed his eyes, pointed his finger on something and opened them again. "Simple as that. And since that menu is quite big, I recommend this method."

Koga giggled and smiled. As he then looked over the menu a few more time's. After Doing so, he Ordered a good amount of food, that satisfy their gullet's. As Well as a good amount of Drink As Well. "Let's Drink! to celebrate the new captaincy! Taicho-chan!" He Said as the Sake, And Water came over to them.

He took the sake and poured them both cup's. Usually Koga never drink that much. if he did it was on a special occasion's. Such as this one. Taking the cup he sipped some of it and sighed in hapiness. "Well! i'm glad to have you as my captain, you seem pretty Alright...Yanno?" After saying that. the food came over and koga's eye's lit up. As the waitress Put the food down she walked off. Koga smiled at all of the elegant and delicious Dishes that had been set down. From Wonderful Cut Roast. To Sukiyaki. Ramen, yakisoba, Steak, You name it. this was A Divine Eat. Indeed.


Taking his chopstick's koga picked up some of the yaki soba noodle's while using his other slender hand to cut up some of the stick mixing it up with the yaki soba as he took it in his mouth and chewed and swallowed. Making Another Satisfied Moan in hapiness."Ahhh......! I'm so glad i brought this! it's so...Delicious!" He Said happily his lighting up at the wonderful food he was enjoying.

'Taicho-chan' would've sounded mocking or sarcastic from nearly everyone in the whole lot of Seireitei, but somehow, from the light hearted Koga, it didn't even seem nearly that. Maybe the reason why it didn't rub his new captain the wrong way. As soon as he saw the sake and the giant load of food, however, he got a little worried about something.
"I hope you don't use up your whole paycheck today. But anyways, drinking on it sounds good!" The new Taicho raised his sake. "Let's drink for the good times to come, so that we may also drink on them when they really arrive!" With that, the first dip of Sake disappeared. Toja was quite infamous for his ability to outdrink even the eleventh squad - and also one of the few Shinigami who could actually use alcohol for their powers.
He also grabbed a bowl of ramen, and after eating a bit, he again noticed how light the atmosphere was around Noriin-Rin. Clearly something quite rare amongst Shinigami nowadays. "And also: Let us drink for the bad times, when we would love to actually drink them away - and maybe will do once they are here!" The next dip of Sake was emptied, and he also refilled the one of his Vice-Captain.
After that, he refilled once again. "And also: Let's drink for the simple fact that you invited me. Thanks again, Koga." Letting formalities slip, he helped himself to the next cup of the sake.

~Koga~

Koga Smiled Happily and hit his glass with toja's. "Cheer's!" he Said happily as He Lifted his glass up slowly, Taking Another sip of it. After Doing So, He looked at toja and smiled Again. Taking A Few More Sip's, he looked out through the horizon, and Enjoyed the lovely scenery. He Then Went back to his meal. and picked up some chop stick's taking some of the delicious Cooked roast and Put some of it in his mouth, Enjoying the Savory Morsel. It Lit his Taste Bud's Up, Like he had almost went to heaven. With that Aside, He Smiled and offered Some to Toja, He was truly enjoying this day with his captain. "Mmmmmm Taicho-chan! Try this Roast! It's to die for!" he Said happily, As he Continued to munch on the delicious Meal's. "Mmmmm So good" he said once more enjoying the meal very much, but he didn't stop there, he Went over to another wave of food's. Such as the Meat's, Rice, And Other Delicious Thing's, he looked back at toja and waved his fork happily. "Don't let me eat everything, i still need room for desert ya know!" he said with a chuckle. Not Many got to see Koga of All People Act like this. So it Was A Rare occasion...Lucky if you pushed for it hard enough. You never would see someone like koga, who's not much of a people's person. Act like this, It truly was a surprising Notion in it's self.
